Description

Labyrinthian is a first person horror-pursuit game with stealth elements, set in mythical ancient Greece.
Theseus, the great hero of Athens, has entered the fabled Labyrinth to slay the Minotaur, but has not returned.

Play as Ariadne, the daughter of Minos, as she follows Theseus into the depths of the Labyrinth, and the nightmare that awaits within.

This project was created at AIE over the course of 4 months, by a team of 6. Our core intention with this project was to create a unique, story driven experience with strong atmosphere and high quality of presentation. Labyrinthian features an AI driven pursuit system, complimented by an interactable environment and a level layout designed to inspire quick decision making from the player and clever use of cover and timing. Taking inspiration from games such as Alien Isolation and Dying light, Labyrinthian presents a detailed, handcrafted world that demands exploration and problem solving.
